Arthur Woodbury is tired of being fat. Hoping to slim down, he buys a miracle weight-loss product, the REM Sleep Device, which promises to help users lose weight while sleeping. When Arthur fails to read all the directions, he inadvertently unleashes the Nothing, a force that will destroy the universe unless he gets home in time to stop it.
