Six diverse children work together to grow a vegetable in a sparkling photodocumentary that includes helpful advice for young garden enthusiasts. Each child picks her or his favorite vegetable to grow in their patch, and each child describes how that vegetable was planted and tended. Carrots, radishes, potatoes, zucchini, and beans are eventually harvested and turned into a beautiful and delicious salad.
