PreS-Gr 2-The 100th book in the "Little People, Big Dreams" series focuses on an activist whose voice was initially silenced. Despite that 2020 setback, Nakate continues to raise awareness for the African continent, not just the Congolian rainforests where she began. VERDICT Early elementary readers will find this an accessible guide to a woman whose work in climate justice continues to build. A wonderful first look.
