Susan Hughes: Hello, my name is Susan Hughes. My first name is spelled the typical way, S-U-S-A-N. When I tell people my last name, Hughes, many of them ask me to spell it for them. It's difficult to spell, because it has two silent consonants right smack-dab in the middle of it, these are G and H. Here goes, my last names is Hughes, and it is spelled H-U-G-H-E-S.
