Judith St. George: Hello, my name is Judith St. George. I spell my name S-T. George. When I was married more than 50 years ago, I never thought my new name, St. George, would be a problem. But because no one knows how to list it alphabetically, I'm sometimes listed under S-A for saint spelled out, or S-T for saint abbreviated. Sometimes I'm listed under G, for Judith George, because people think the S-T is my middle name.
What's really silly is that some people think the S-T stands for street, so they call me Judith Street George. Computers don't like my name at all, and put St. George all together as one word, with no dot or space. Sometimes I think it would've been easier to call myself Judith Alexander, which was my name before I was married. What do you think?
