Madelyn Rosenberg: My name is Madelyn Rosenberg. People always say, "Oh, like in the book", meaning Madeline, except the book would have to have a whole different rhyme scheme if it were about me. Rosenberg means rose mountain in German, and I've always wondered about that since my ancestors are actually from Russia and Spain. When I was in middle school, my P. E. teacher called me hamburger because of the "burg".
