Thien Pham: Hi. My name is Thien Pham. Thien is spelled kind of weird. It's a Vietnamese name, T, H, I, E, N. It's actually pronounced in Vietnamese as Thien, but I think the English language is a little hard to pronounce that monosyllabic sound. So as I was growing up in kindergarten, all my teachers just called me Thien. My brother has a similar name. His name is Ton or Ton. When we were going through kindergarten at the same time everyone called him Thien as well. So me and my brother actually ended up having the same name in our elementary school for all our lives.
