Mehrdokht Amini: Hello. My name is Mehrdokht Amini. It's a difficult name to say in English. It's an old Persian name. 'Mehr' in Farsi means sun, and 'Dokht' means daughter, so altogether it means daughter of sun. My grandfather chose this name for me after my grandmother, who sadly passed away before I was born.
