Jim Paulsen: Hi, my name is James Wright Paulson. I was named after my grandfather, James Courtney Wright, who was a pretty well known engineer in Colorado back in the middle of the 20th century. When I was growing up I had the nickname Guido and I didn't know my name was James or Jim or Jimmy. It was Guido for most of my early childhood. I didn't think there was anything wrong with that until I moved and then I got made fun of a little bit and I quickly became Jimmy. Guido was from San de Guido, which was Little Saint James, which was my mom and dad's landlady they had when I was growing up. So that nickname stuck. My dad still calls me Guido today.
