Clay McLeod Chapman: Hello. My name is Clay McLeod Chapman. Best way to remember my middle name, which is the one that seems to kind of stick with people's ears the most, it's McLeod. So, if you just think of tacking on the first bit of McDonald's to cloud, and you get McLeod. That is a Scottish name. I'm from the Isle of Skye. My mom is a potter, so that first name of mine, Clay, actually does come solely from her love for pottery and earthenware and mud, so no Clayton. Just straight up Clay. When the fifth graders first found out about that, I was toast on the playground.
