Fonda Lee: Hello, my name is Fonda Lee. Fonda, just like Jane Fonda or Henry Fonda, which sometimes throws people for a loop because they're unused to seeing Fonda as a first name. When I first tell people my name they sometimes mistake it for Wanda, or Rhonda, or Sonya, or even Fauna. My father gave me the name because Lee is one of the most common, if not the most common surname in the world, and he wanted to give me a unique first name to make up for the popularity of my last name. And he found that Fonda means profound in a baby book, and I think that appealed to him.
