Nonny Hogrogian: Hello. My name is Nonny Hogrogian. That's how Hogrogian in English. In Armenian it would be pronounced "ho-gro-hian," and in Armenian it means "earth carrier," and that's what my great-grandparents were. They were earth carriers in the old country of Armenia. The Nonny in my name started out as a nickname, but it stuck, and eventually I made it legally my name. When I was an infant, I had an uncle who used to throw me in the air and say, "Hey Nonny, Nonny, and a ha cha cha," and I guess I loved it, and I would giggle, and it stuck, and everybody called me Nonny. So that's my name. Nonny Hogrogian.
