Peter Bunzl: Hello. My name is Peter Bunzl. Peter is a traditional name in my family. Apparently it derives from the word for rock of stone in ancient times. Bunzl, my surname, is a bit stranger because of all the consonants. English people can't get their head around it. Even when I spell it to them they like to add in an extra E where they think one should go. The name belonged to my grandfather who is Jewish and came to England from Vienna, Austria just before the outbreak of the second World War. His great grandfather's family came from Slovakia so that's where we think the name must have originated.
