Kristen Wixted: Hello, my name is Kristen Wixted. Kristen wasn't a popular name when I was a little girl, but everyone knows a Kristen now. Wixted, on the other hand, is my husband's name. I took it when we got married because I liked the x. A lot of people say Wixt, like the E-D doesn't even exist, or like it's the past tense of the verb "to wix," which isn't really a word. But the ED is important. There aren't many Wixteds in the world, and I'm sure all the Wixteds appreciate you knowing how to pronounce our name.
