Jacquie Sewell: Hello, my name is Jacquie Sewell. Sewell rhymes with jewel or school. It most likely came from the English word, seawall. Sewell is my married name. My maiden name is, Jarstad which is a Norwegian name. My great-grandparents both came from Norway in the late 1800s. It wasn't until I visited Norway recently that I learned, I had been mispronouncing Jarstad all these years. In Norway, they say, Yar-shtad.
