Linda J. Acevedo: My name is Linda J. Acevedo. You can call me Linda, but I do prefer Linda. This is actually a pen name. The J stands for Josefa, my maternal grandmother. Acevedo is my father's mother's last name, and I just wanted to honor them, and so I named my pen name after them.
