Shana Gozansky: Hi, my name is Shana Gozansky, and one of the things that's interesting about my name is that it's pronounced as if there's a Y or an I after the first A, but it is not spelled with a Y or an I, so I have to spend a lot of time telling people how to say my name, Shana, and then, Gozansky. It can be another tricky name for people, and that name is Polish, but depending on when you're looking at the map in the history of Eastern Europe, that name might be Russian, or Belarusian, or Polish, just depending on where the lines on the map are drawn. And then, the other fun fact about my first name is that it is Yiddish for pretty.
