John Butler: Hello. My name is John Butler. It's quite a short name, which I like. My brother, who is quite a lot older than me, was asked when I was born what I should be called. He suggested John. I'm pleased he did. You can't shorten it and nobody has ever misheard it when I've told him or her what my name is. It sounds quite different backwards. My full name backwards is Nhoj Reltub, which makes me sound like a completely different person. I suppose that could be the name of the person I see in the mirror because that's me backwards. I like my second name, Butler, because it's quite close to the beginning of alphabet. I don't have to wait too long if people are being called up by name in alphabetical order. Of course, that doesn't work quite so well if I'm being called up to do something I don't want to do. Then I wish my second name was Zebra or something like that. John Zebra sounds quite good, but I think I'll stick with John Butler.
