Andrew Clements: Hello, my name is Andrew Clements. My full name is Andrew Elborn Clements. Elborn is one of those middle names that you don't tell your friends when you're in first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, or seventh grade. And maybe even eighth grade. Because, if they find out your middle names happens to be Elborn, which is actually a fine old English name that means "well born" but if kids find it out, all of a sudden you have a nickname like elbone or elbozo, or elbow head. So, I decided that I was going to use the name Andrew Clements, rather than Andrew Elborn Clements. So far, it's worked pretty well.
