Jen Bryant: Hello. My name is Jen Bryant. Jen is short for Jennifer and in fact in my earlier books and poems I used Jennifer Bryant or even Jennifer Fisher Bryant because Fisher is my maiden name. Jennifer comes from the English name Guinevere and as you may know, she married King Arthur but meanwhile was also in love with Lancelot, so I guess that's an ambiguous tale to have as part of my name's history. Now, I mostly use Jen because it's easier to remember and it's simple and the busier we all become, the more I like things that are just simple.
