My daughter came up with a great nickname. She calls me Shell Ro. My friends call me Shell. For years, I didn't like my name and fantasized about changing it. Now I'm content and I think it suits me. I'm an ocean person and Shelley, or Shell, reminds me of seashells.

The name Shelley is an old English name, but it's usually spelled differently. Shelley is often associated with a person who is creative, inventive and energetic. I like that.
