Shadra Strickland: Hello. My name is Shadra Strickland. When my mom was pregnant with me she thought that I was going to be a boy. And my name originally would have been Rashad, which is, R-A-S-H-A-D. But surprise, I'm a girl. They switched some letters around and it became Shadra. The same number of letters, but it's spelled, S-H-A-D-R-A. I always like that story.
