Elbrite Brown: Hello. My name is Elbrite Brown. I was given this name by my mother, and as a child, I got teased on a regular basis, but I always thought of my name as a gift. From an early age, I realized that I was interested in art, and I always noticed that artists had things that were very different about them. It was either something different about the way they dressed or the way they thought, just the way they did things, so I was really happy to find out that I was an artist, and also having a name that was so different, it gave people a reason to remember me.
