Larry Smith: Hello. My name is Larry Smith, and my last name is the most popular surname in America. That's why I started an online magazine, Smith Magazine, and our tagline is, "Everyone has a story." I also called it Smith after my grandfather, who's name was Morris Smith, and everyone called him Smitty. Smitty was an amazing storyteller. It wasn't until one day I said to my grandfather, "Hey, what's your story?" And he said, "Well, my story wouldn't be interesting." I said, "Oh, come on. Tell me your story. Let me try out this new video camera, get your story. I don't know your whole life story." And then finally, I turned on the video camera, and he talked for three hours. The lesson I learned was, everyone has a story. Sometimes you have to just remember to ask them.
