Genevieve Simermeyer: Hello, my name is Genevieve Simermeyer. A lot of people also call me Jennie. I was named after my great-grandmother, Jennie Garfield Gray. When I was a little girl, I always used to go just by Jennie, because I thought it was easier to spell. I spell it J-E-N-N-I-E. But now that I'm an adult, I like that my name is Genevieve, because it's not a very common name. And I think that it's a beautiful name. I don't really know many other Genevieves, but sometimes, when I meet new people, they tell me about someone they know named Genevieve. I always like to hear about the other Genevieves out there.
