Craig Orback: Hello, my name is Craig Orback. My name Orback is German. When I was a kid I got to teased a little bit by some friends that would say my name front or back, meaning going forward or back. Another thing people would ask me a lot is are you related to the famous actor Jerry Orbach, no I am not related to Jerry Orbach as far as I know. My family name is from my dads side of course, and his family is German. In the 1700s they were Germans that were invited to come to Russia by Catherine the Great, she was wanting people to settle a part of Russia, and invited the Germans to come. So they lived there for hundreds of years, and eventually my ancestors moved in the late 1800s and came to the US, and then eventually settled in Colorado, sort of Kansas area, and Nebraska. So that is my family name, Orback.
