Daniel Minter: Hi. My name is Daniel Minter. I was given the name Daniel from the Bible story of Daniel in the lion's den, Daniel the interpreter. When I was young, I did not really like my name. But now I feel like I have grown into it, and I really enjoy its meaning, Daniel the interpreter. Because I feel like that is what I have become, that is what I am as an illustrator and an artist. I am an interpreter.
