Even though I know it doesn't look like that, my whole life I've gotten Federal, I've gotten Federlay, other things that are less appropriate that kids would call me on the playground. It's FED-er-lee I would hear my mom on the phone spelling it for the cable company or an electrician. It was always, "F as in Frank, E, D as in dog, E-R-L-E. Not Y," because Federle, it's looks like it should be a Y. I believe it's Bavarian Alps are where all my relatives are in Germany.
