Rob Laidlaw: Hello, my name is Rob Laidlaw. It's a name that comes from the border areas of Scotland and England and it's very, very old. In fact, the first recorded spelling of the name Laidlaw is that of William de Ladelawe and it was actually spelled differently, it was spelled L-A-D -E-L-A-W-E. And this was back in 1296 and William de Ladelawe was actually accused of concealing a horse that was stolen from the English. So it's a name with a very long history.
