Andrew Larsen: Hi, my name is Andrew Larsen. When I was young, I was called Andy. I was the only Andy at my school, and I liked that. I didn't have to share my name with anyone. It's funny though, because when I got older, my two best friends were both called Andy. Actually one called himself Andy and the other called himself Andrew. We were known by our friends as the Three Andy's. When I became an author, I started calling myself Andrew because, well, I thought that sounded a little more grown up. In my heart though, I still think of myself as Andy. And my last name, Larsen, is a Danish name. My grandparents came to Canada from Denmark a long time ago. They came right after they got married. They were looking for adventure, an exciting beginning to their life together. Well, they found a wonderful life for themselves here in Canada and they stayed and lived the rest of their lives here and I'm glad that they did.
