The reason why I use my full name, including my middle name Barclay, is that there are so many David Moores in the world and I wanted to be sure that people knew which one I was. My first name, David, means beloved. My middle name, Barclay, means a field of birch trees and when I asked my mother why she chose Barclay for my middle name, she said she just liked the way it sounded. Thanks, Mom.
