Ani Castillo: Hello, my name is Ani Castillo. Actually I was born Anna, but when I was four years old and I was in Kindergarten, there were four other Annas in my classroom, and our teacher used to say our name with our last name. So, I thought what about giving myself a brand new name? So, I switched my name to Ani when I was four years old. And I told all my teachers and I told my parents, and I was like, "My new name is Ani, you'd better call me by that."

And also, my last name is Castillo, which means cattle in Spanish. And when you think about pronouncing it, you can say...if you think about Yo-Yo, you can say Ani Casti-Yo-Yo, or Ani Casti-Yo, because you don't have lots of double L in English very often, but you pronounce it, like you pronounce Yo-Yo. Ani Castillo. So, yeah, that may help you maybe with the pronunciation, Ani Castillo, like a Yo-Yo.
