Ben Philippe: Hi, my name is Ben Philippe. It's kind of an author handle because my full name is technically Rubens Bennett, which is a lot to put on a small child trying to fit in in a new country and elementary school back then. So I just condensed it into Ben. I like that name. Also, as for my last name, the question I get a lot is how to pronounce it. Is it Philippe? Phillip? Philips? Phillipi? And honestly, it's up to you. It's one of those weird names that's like, "Oh, I've seen it pronounced this way." And if you're of a Latinx background, it's pronounced in a different way. I blame the actor, Ryan Phillippe, who is the only famous person in the world that shares my last name, for not being more popular, because I feel like if he was more popular, people would just know. No one in the world is like, "Oh, is it George Clohney?" People just know. So really, if you can't pronounce my last name, blame Ryan Phillippe.
