B.B. Alston: Hi, my name is B.B. Alston I'm the author of Amari and the Night Brothers and I chose my name because, first of all, B.B. just is my first two initials, Brandon Bruce Alston. And when I was little the famous musician B.B. King, I always thought that was just the coolest name and I realized that I had the initials. So I always said if I ever get the chance to create my name and have it mean something, I would always change to B.B. And so when I got a chance to be a author, I made it B.B. Alston. That's where that came from.
