Jarrett Lerner: My name is Jarrett Lerner J-A-R-R-E-T-T L-E-R-N-E-R. It is often misspelled, the first and the last name. I'm often called Jared and people always sneak in an A into my last name as if I'm a learner, which is fine. I actually rarely notice when people call me Jared instead of Jarrett. My wife notices and is very sensitive to it, and my friends do. I rarely notice it and don't mind. My mother named all of her kids names that would not have nicknames. I don't know why, she doesn't like nicknames, or so she claimed. And my whole life, she has every few years developed a different nickname for me despite her reasoning for naming me Jarrett. So, Jar, Jay, Jay Man, Jay Bear. So yes, I was named to not have a nickname and my whole life I have been called a nickname. But you can call me anything. Jarrett, Hey You, Author Guy, whatever.
