Ann D. Koffsky: Hello. My name is Ann Diamond Koffsky. The Ann is the name my parents chose for me when I was born, and I'm named for my great-grandmother, Annie. The Diamond is my name from my father's family. And his family came to America from Poland, and that was their name. And Koffsky is my name I got when I got married. That's my husband's family's name. They also came from Poland, and their name was originally Chodakowski. And when they got to America, they decided that was way too many syllables, so they chopped it down to Koffsky. And thus, I am Ann Diamond Koffsky.
