Olivier Dunrea: Hello. My name's Olivier Dunrea. Dunrea is kind of an odd name. It's a variation on a Scottish word, dounreay, which is spelled D-O-U-N-R-E-A-Y. My last name is spelled D-U-N-R-E-A. I spent a lot of time in Scotland doing my research for my books, primarily way up north in the Orkneys and Shetland Islands. Olivier is, obviously, a very French-sounding name, and it's the name that gives most people the hardest time. I always tell them my name is Olivier like Sir Lawrence, and people say, "So your name's Larry." It really is a French-Scottish name and, again, it's simply pronounced Olivier Dunrea, pretty much rhymes.
