Tips for a Successful Webinar

To best meet the learning expectations for a scheduled webinar, here are some noteworthy tips.

Pre-Webinar

• Discuss and clarify with TeachingBooks.net PD team
  • Needs and expectations
  • Goals and Objectives
  • Audience
  • Duration
• Test the technology at least one day before session - speakers, microphones, projection, etc.

During the webinar

• Confirmation that this agenda addresses the needs and expectations of the audience.
• Distribute handouts and notesheets as appropriate.
• Use the webinar chat box or call us immediately (800-596-0710) if:
  • Technology not working as you want
    • Audio chopping in and out
    • Video and audio off sync
  • You would like to make adjustments to the session in progress
    • Pace of presentation is too quick
    • Content of presentation is familiar so pace can be increased
    • Examples being used are not relevant for the audience
    • Additional time is needed to respond to questions

Post webinar

• Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance
• Attendees will receive an email with: follow-up tips, responses to questions that may have come up during the webinar, and presenter contact information
