When Gilbert Alexander Pig finds a lovely spot by the edge of the river, he catches fish by day and at night he plays his trumpet to the stars. One night a wolf hears the music on the wind, and soon discovers that Gilbert is not the kind of pig who is going to let himself become a victim easily.
