Part of a series of community storybooks featuring stories from more remote areas outside of Iqaluit. Heather Main is a teacher who grew up in Arviat, Nunavut and has travelled to many communities through work in the territory. Based on real events in Arviat where trick-or-treating is sometimes cancelled because there are often polar bear sightings around the community in the fall.
