Stephanie Kate Strohm: Hi, I'm Stephanie Kate Strohm. When I first started writing, I was also working as an actor, and my name was registered as Stephanie Strohm with Actors Equity, so I thought I should add my middle name into my author name to make it different. But my middle name, Kate, has always been my favorite part of my name because of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, the heroine is named Kate, and I sometimes think of myself as plain Kate, Bonnie Kate, sometimes Kate the Cursed. So I love having a little bit of Shakespeare as part of my name.
