KDLA Children and Teen Book Discussion Kits
Explore the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA)’s collection of book discussion kits for children and teens.
To reserve a kit, simply contact your local public library.
Each KDLA youth book discussion kit includes 20 copies of a selected title, with 5 available in large print if provided by the publisher, along with 2 Spanish-language copies and audio CDs of the book when available. The kit also comes with a comprehensive book discussion guide featuring a synopsis, author, illustrator, and translator bios, book reviews, interviews, discussion questions, read-alike recommendations, and additional resource links to further explore the title.
Of note, KY Bluegrass Award Nominees and Winners (past and present) for grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 are also available as book discussion kits.
